o i don't knock him, i admire that about him.

but to baddest's point, i don't think he'll ever be in GP as a regular rider either because of his age. but i think the fact that he can race a superbike without traction control means that a low level of rider aid will suit him well on the beast of the bikes that GP bikes are. i think he'll finish. but they are a different world, they turn so much quicker, the stop so much quicker, they rev way higher.

I heard a rumor that he was supposed to be on the bike monday after the last race. If he does get enough saddle time I think that he can get comfortable enough on the bike to finish, perhaps not podium but none-the-less. Unfortunately I agree with you buzz kills about his age working against him getting a contract for GP.

Podium.... I wouldn't even think of it. The rest of the field or close to better fall over before that would happen. Hayes did have some limited time on the bike. Thing is not enough. If he finishes it would be testimate. Hayes is one hell of a rider and matured to greatness with a Attitude for the sport that I feel is more then welcoming to the sport. I wish him the best of luck. I'm quite sure Ben Spies being around him can give him some helpful advice in area's.

Its good to see Josh get a shot. Hopefully he will finish the race. I think hopefully he can @ least give WSBK a go. I agree he is probablly too old to be a full time MotoGP rider. Look forward to seeing him ride for sure.

SPOILER****

Josh took 7th! I heard the announcers say at the beginning, his fastest practice lap was something like 1 and 1/2 seconds quicker than everyone else in damp conditions.

IT was a great finish, I though Spies had it but unfortunately couldn't hang on.
