That was a great end of the race, even though Stoner had already rapped up the Championship, he still gave it his all. Was kind of sad that some of the guys in the front got taken out. Honda dominated this year!!! Was Awesome!

I wonder how next season will go, with the 1000cc instead of the 800cc. I don't understand how bigger cc will slow them down in corners.

Glad the sseason is over. Honda got what they wanted before the 800's were gone and now they will be a two man team. I expect bigger thing from Spies next year. I hope Ducati get out of the Slump they are in and give Rossi and Hayden the bikes they need to run upfront. I see a whole different season next year for sure. As far as Hayes ??? Congrats on finishing. He did hoever catch a break in that the front runners were either not racing or or DNF'd. Meaning if Lorenzo was there and Bautista,Hayden and Rossi didn't crash the results woul have been completetly different. They had no control as to what happened to them in turn one at the start of the race however.

Hopefully Honda will have a repeat year in 2012. Just maybe Pedrosa will contend for the title. Wonder if Honda will return to AMA in 2012?

he was quickest in both tests....but i don't know. he's just not that consistent - he blows it. it'd be about time for him to do well though. he's certainly had enough time to come to grips....

and alvaro bautista is going to gresini san carlo? wow. simoncelli and bautista weren't that great of rivals in the GP class, but back in the 250 days they were. its funny how that has sort of come about.

and hayden didn't ride... damn

I don't think hes filling Sics shoes. But rather the other bike which is more of a LCR bike.

rest assured - those 2 would NOT be teammates though. that was more of my point. but i bet in a "weird" kind of way, its a great thing to happen and gresini will really work with him. i know he won't be having HRC backing like marco did. i'm happy for alvaro though. when he and super sic were battling in the 250cc class, i was an alvaro fan as opposed to simoncelli. but i'm sure like great rivals, they had a great respect for eachother.

i just find it ironic. i mean, it's not like he was the most logical choice for gresini. and it's not like it was the most logical step for him as well. that's all

Hmm I don't know he did pretty well on the Rizla bike this year. He was top five running several times. I think we may see good things from him. Wonder though does Hopkins come back?? Does Rizla stay in GP and bring the Hopper aboard. He showed that hes a contender after what he did in British Superbike the first year out on a strange bike, team and tracks. There is some talent there.

i thought hopper was going to world superbike? it'd be a good move for him to go back to GP though if he could!

but my point was that yes, alvaro did indeed do well with rizla this year - so why move. the amount of improvement from when he first joined the team to now has been VERY good - so why look elsewhere? i pictured him staying with rizla for a few more years and continuing improvement.
