i was in a bidding war on a facebook post and didnt have time to source a trailer. drove 200 miles last month in the dead of winter, at night, in a thunderstorm. it wasnt below freezing luckily. but me and the other guy were disagreeing who would show up sooner in the morn to get it so i left out that night to pick it up. needless to say i beat him to it and now its my baby #NORAGRETS #WORTHIT #PASSEDSEVERALHIWAYPATROLDOING120 #GUESSINGTHEYFELTSORRYFORME

Yep. About 2 hours. I went from riding a klr650 to a cbr600rr . I was a little worried but felt I’d be good. After a few minutes solid. Hit 130 on the fwy late and just before getting home I pulled hard thru all the gears... I was expecting to be a little more blown by the quickness and thought maybe should got a 1000... but likely not

With mine I'd been off the road for a couple of years (on a bike anyway) before that I was on a er500, I found my cbr1000f on ebay, It was about 120mile away. Went down to it by train had a test drive with the guy I bought it off. Then rode the 120mile home most of which was on the motorway, I'm in UK. The ride was great, not much traffic. As I caught up to a few cars, I opened it up and overtook them and carried on with that stupid grin on my face that you get when enjoying the ride. After a time I just did the glance down at the speedo and found I'm carrently doing 135mph. That soon brings me back to focusing and an appreciation of jumping on a sports bike of this size for the first time and eased off with a lot more concentration....That stupid grin was a lot bigger Haa.
