Default Wife;s first ride

I've been trying to get my wife to go for a ride with me for quite some time. As of yesterday, she doesn't have an excuse anymore because I went out and bought her a helmet.
I got her to hop on and we went for a quick jaunt down the street.
The bike handled VERY differently with the added weight, but it didn't take me too long to get the hang of it. We ended up having a lot of fun, and I brought up the idea of looking for a bike for her. We went to the Kawi dealership (ew, I know, but I can't find a Honda sportbike under 600cc) and looked at Ninja 500's. She probably won't be getting one any time soon, but at least now she can identify with riding!

i think its awsome when a husband and wife can share a passion such as riding. my fiance loves bikes as well ! she has actually said that she will help get me a new bike if ill give her my f3 . im about to enroll into the msf and i told her that she should take the class with me. i hope one day that me and her can ride together but for now i enjoy riding by myself

Funny that you posted this. I did EXACTLY the same thing. I finally got my wife to jump on the back. We didn't go far just around the neighborhood. We had a good time just riding around...

Anyone know if this counts for "Giving a chic a ride and getting some"?

We got my wife a used Ninja 250, and she loves it! It is some of the best time that we spend together.

my wife wanted to hop on my 900 today but shes been sick and i JUST got it up and running so i was like lets wait till you feel better, and my frame sliders get here....WRONG thing to say...you dont think i can handle it? etc etc etc you crashed it when you had it less than a week ( i dropped it in some gravel) i said all true, and remember my road rash? remember what it did to the bike? she goes good point we will wait till i feel better and your frame sliders get here...BUT your still in the dog house.
