Good to know fellas.

As for someone reversing into me, if that happens, I'll probably be going to jail that day, as I will beat the ever living **** out of someone if they do that.
I see no reason (unless they accidentally get too far past the stop-line at a traffic light) for them doing that unless it's malicious intent. If it's malicious intent then that is a threat to my well being and I will defend myself accordingly.
If they did just go to far ahead of the stop-line, then they should be intelligent enough to check their six before backing up. If they don't check, then they still deserve an ***-beating for being ignorant/careless/stupid.

A bit off-topic but this kinda made me think of that Russian bus-driver called The Punisher. There is a video of a few cars cuttin him off and he just plows into them. He even does a pittman on a van that cuts in front of him.

I wish we could retaliate against dumbass motorists like that. HEHEHEHE

I've been riding since I was 16, now 50. At 18 came around a corner @ 55, car on my side of the rode. Choice, go through guard rail and play superman or drop the bike. Bike had crash bars on it. Stayed with the bike, ended up with some scrapes on my back and back spasms for 2 weeks, lucky. Driver never stopped. Rode the bike home. Pissed.

I've stopped my FJR in intersections when cars don't see me and stood up with my arms out..dumb, but they got the idea.

It's one of the reasons why I've put hyperlites on the back of each of my bikes. It gets a drivers attention when they flash. Might **** them off a little too. I also put the bright white driving lights on the front too. Helps but doesn't stop morons.

I've had the ahole drivers who just hate bikes too. Slam on their brakes in front of me on a highway at 65. Thank god for ABS on the big bike. I let them know when I caught up with them at the next intersection, with people around. Nowadays when folks do crap like that they go to jail, thank god. The biggest issue is staying safe like many people have said.

Ive had a lady try to change lanes while i was next to her. She never saw me so she started coming over. Luckly there was a shoulder i could ride on. If I wasnt worried about knocking myself over I would have kicked a dent in her door as a lesson.. but i decided to knock on her window. Ive never seen someone so surprised!

I was right beside a lady on the highway the other day right beside her drivers door. She decides to merge left right into me, luckily I was watching her front wheel (something I've learned to do from years past) then downshifted and got out of that mess. Got over in the lane kinda threw up my arm like did you not see me? Her husband/b/f/brother idk had eyes as big as softballs but I still think to this day they have no idea what they did. All this at 70mph. I've learned it's better to get out and get away from the situation that to confront them. 6 years ago I would've brake checked them, ran up beside them, flipped them off, etc. Now, just let them pass and shake my head bc all that isn't worth it anymore. I have a wife and little girl to get home to.

That may not have ended very well.

My wife showed me that video one day and I said glad I'm not that stupid anymore. Amazing how fast marriage and a child matures you.

SO, at traffic lights, I usually lane split while no one is moving so I can get to the front of the line. Usually no one has an issue with this because they know I'll be a speck on the horizon within 3 seconds of the light turning green. Well today I did the same and cut a Charger R/T with a douche driving. He starts flicking me off and what not, I just ignore, and once the light turns green, I'm off. Well 2000 feet later I hit another red light and he is right behind me trying to overtake me, in the same lane. Well we come to stop and he is right behind me, still flicking me off.

Well, I motion for him to pull up next to me. He did not expect that and was reluctant. He came up to me with his windows down saying this ain't California, you can't lane split, blah blah. All I said was, look I will not hold you back, I will be a speck on the horizon before you shift to first gear, then he was like well I don't wanna hit you. I said I appreciate the concern, go ahead and get in front of me. He ended up refusing to get in front of LOL w.e. Two lights later, I do the same and leave him behind.

Moral of the story, lane split safely when traffic doesn't move and don't flick anyone back when they flick you off, just educate them.

I do not provoke other drivers into anything by following to closely or lane splitting (not legal here anyway.....anywhere other than Cali for that matter). Haven't had anyone do anything other than ride to close behind me and a flick of the wrist or pulling out of there way can solve that.

I am purchasing me a GoPro next month to take on rides for just such situations in the first couple videos. No sense in anyone endangering my life when I make it a point to be as safe as I can on the road.

Makes no sense at all to try and "get back" at someone for cutting you off b/c they may have not even noticed you, get there license plate and call the cops if it warrants it.

I don't lane split. It is illegal where I live and I've never seen anyone else do it. Not only would it most likely anger many nearby cagers it would be my luck that the stealth cop that I didn't notice would probably notice me when I did it.
