Damn chuck was about to say that too.
And jgos I don't know why you want to keep attacking me but I'm done with it. If you have a problem with me, pm it. Nobody forces you to reply to anything I post. They don't even force you to read it (tho I might since it seems to cause you pain).
Now grow up or get out of the conversation

Back on Topic...$500 bikes can be a lot of fun to fix up. I built a 1996 YZF600R out of the best bits of two bikes. Repaired the plastic, painted it, kept it for a couple of years then sold it to a co-worker.

My gf loves that justification of course
ive bought three cbrs for cheap not running and have turned them into great rides, HONDA made such a good motor that unless the bike was run short on oil , i was able to get it to run, then it was game on! my latest was my 900 RR i bought, a lot of peeps passed on it because it did not run, their loss. It took two and a half tears to get it where it is today, lil bit at a time. But the best damn advise i could give anybody is .....When you get frustrated...walk away and come back fresh the next day and the problem seems so much eezier to handle. I love my "turn key" 929 but i absolutly LOVE to fix up a poor , forgoten, neglected CBR. it takes alot of wiping to get all the dumb off sometimes, but it is so great to see it come to life!
