MIDWAY UPDATE:

So no update for the court so far, gotta call and see if I can reschedule it earlier or something

but as far as the ex goes, she's no longer an ex as of today (for those who care) We talked and both agreed we should take it slow this time (last time got in to fast emotionally [that sounds weird but im too tired to change it]) and see how it goes

Next update will be on whether I get the ticket reduced (no more lies for me, gonna go in and tell the truth if it kills me) or not.

 

Thats a pretty good philosophy to live by in all aspects of life if you ask me, I know its a hell of a lot easier to just be honest 95% of the time. The other 5% is for those "do i look fat in these pants" type of questions.

Yeah, I usually tell the truth when it comes down to it, but I have a problem with gov't/police/that kind of stuff. Not a big fan of them all, but sometimes you gotta suck it up I guess

 

i would get out of America quick! or just wait a a few more days for our whole economy to fail then you wont have to pay the ticket. lastly, if it doesnt fail, join the foriegn legion and get a new identy, its the only wAY!!!

 

AFTER COURT DATE:

Went in to court with $420 (good amount, haha) in my pocket, prepared for the worst. Check in and get in the DA line. When I get up there they look at the ticket and are talking about reducing it but for some reason they threw that idea out the window, it was like there was some kind of mental connection where they both said "not gonna work, don't talk about it" and they asked me if I had taken the defensive driving course. I have, so that option is out the window. He takes my ticket and writes a new date and says "Come back on this day, I would suggest with a lawyer, otherwise they'll probably take your license" and that was it. Over and done, STILL no solution. So now I'm gonna have to pay out my a$$ for lawyer fees (the $ for s really works ironically there).

I think I'm done with speeding, it's really not worth it with all this money it costs. I can barely do anything because I gotta watch my spendings and save up. I'm workin my a$$ off non stop mixed with school, etc. Guess it's one of those lessons us teens learn.

And as for the girl, we're together again, so far so good, been about a month
