Near Death Experiences
I have almost choked to death about 5 times over my life. Severe Astma.....think about waking up in the middle of the night, sitting up barely being able to breath. Then banging on the wall just to have you mom run in the room and stab you with an epi-pen (giant needle(fun stuff)). Followed by the ever so joyful trips to the er at 4 in the am.
I almost drowned after being knocked out while tubing.
Was a passenger in a car that rolled over doing 75 and slid for123 yards.

Geezus...did you re build or move mate ??
Bloody hell I would have **** myself ...
I have been battered till unconscious twice from bike crashes ...should have been dead quite a few times ..
Fell from roofs 2 stories up at least 4 times ...landed ok with no major damage..
Came off a fully extended 22ft ladder from way up the top ..grabbed the guttering and held on for 5 min or so till the gutter let go and then fell straight down, missed straddling a timber fence by inches... my fall was broken by a hedge and all I got was branches up me **** ...and a **** load of scratches...
T boned a drunk driver turning in front of me at the last second while I was doing 120klms in a 351 GT Flacon .... ( car cost **** loads to repair , but he paid ) I only had a few scratches from glass ...as we were all wearing full racing harnesses ...
There are alot more incidents that could have killed me but too many to mention here ...
mate you were so lucky in that bloody house !!!

Red, you fail to mention that the house used to be in Kansas...with your little dog Toto, too.
Tornadoes happen fairly frequently in PA, but rarely with the destructive power typically found in the midwest. I´ve heard that if you leave the windows cracked, it equalizes the pressure and thus reducing the risk of devastation, but I would take that information with a grain of salt...besides...it´s too late for you.
I´m sure I´ve had near death experience...but right now nothing is coming to mind.

as an iron worker ive had lots of close calls, ive fell 3 stories off the iron on my back, still hurts 12 years later. had a 3 ton piece of iron roll over on myside, my 3 work mates lifted it off me in a panic, i still dont know how they were able to lift such a heavy piece. ive had the crane i was operating fail mechanically and almost killed me and a couple of work mates, i still have nitemares about that one. being stupid on motorcycles has removed a good bit of flesh,(not proud of this) racing on the hiway, going 150+ i felt the bike begin to handle funny i let off and realized i picked up a 16penny nail in the rear, i realized the error of my ways(17years ago)and dont chase the devil on my bike anymore, now i love the twisties and cornersmore than tripple didget speeds.i am very blessed to still be here to see my children grow. life is good.all these experiences make me a better man and lot smarter.
It's funny you guys mention the computer, because we actually were able to still use it for about 3 months after it happened. I wish I had some more pictures, but just to give you an idea of how strong the winds were, our car was found 300 yards away, and some family photos were found in towns 30 minutes away!
Classic- We rebuilt, but not in the same exact spot. We put our house up in the woods a little ways away from the old foundation, but still close to the farm.
I'm noticing a pattern with a lot of people falling of roofs and choking on things.
