sea foam experiences
ok i call the honda reapership today an explain that my bike run very strong in the lower rmp range on all gears, so i can start from a red ligth and go trhu all the gears shifting around 6500 rpms, if i ride on the highway im doing 75 on 6th but ifi try to go faster bike start backfiring till i get back off on the trothle and then stop backfiring and gets going, i read on a web some guy use sea foam and bike stop backfiring and runs smoother, any inputs on it, like i said before i dont work on my bike 1 i dont have tools, 2 i dont have idea what to do, 3 i always loose the dam screws, so sea foam on the gas tanks look like a good option an idiot like me.
i dont want to go pay 350 bucks for carb alignament till i now they are out of alignament
i do have a dam vince haines pipe on it, im thinking that may be the cause, gona try the stock system and see, may be on the market for some cheap exhaust system if some one have a system in the garage let me know

RE: sea foam experiences
Seafoam is a fuel additive that was originally designed for use in 2 stroke outboard motors. The stuff can workwell on an older vehicle with gas delivery gunk issues. It CAN knock carbon buildup off the valves and pistons and it has a tendancy to clean up your lines and carbs/FI system. I had a blazer that the injectors were getting clogged. the price of replacements is exhorbitant so I tried the seafoam. It opened up the injectors quite a bit and I regained a lot of lost performance. Try it out. What do you have to lose? 8 bucks?
You might want to be prepared to replace your fuel filter if you run an in-line. The stuff broken loose can clog it up.

RE: sea foam experiences
Well Seaform doesn't synchronize your carbs. I have to sync my cbr and goldwing about every 8k to 12k and it's really easy to do alejandrol2, even if you don't have the tools they're easy to get, a few screw divers flat and philips, about six feet of fish tank air tubing and a check valve. One carb is locked so you can sync the other three to it one at a time. It's best to make sure your valves are done too as they'll cause some of the problems too
