WATCHOUT! When buying a stand....
Well valuable lessson here I just learned, a typical swing arm stand will NOT work if you bike has a drop kit. Too bad I never bothered to ask here and now I gotta send them back, has anyone ever had this problem? Any way out, can I modify it by welding another piece? Can brass be welded, apparently thats what the metal is made of....any suggestions or links are appreciated it, thanks guys

RE: WATCHOUT! When buying a stand....
It may be possible to shorten the arms enough to prevent them from jamming against the pipe.
1 I can't be sure, but maybe removing the wheels will give you a bit more clearance..........you can still use the stand without them I think
2 I'm not sure how expensive it would be, but if you cut the pipe arm/s, and have another top section made which is slightly lower, using a slightly wider pipe that fits over the original ?
Just my 2c
I made my own stands for under $20 US.........

I'm not sure, Rrasco, but if you made the parts that the 'pins' on the swingarm fit into, thinner but longer, it may work too.......Thinner would allow them to clear the slipon maybe......?
Tops of mine are just a swivelling L bracket, which hold the swingarm securely........
Maybe I'm missing something here..................

yeah, the metal in that color made me think that its not your standard metal that can just be welded like anything else, I have a friend coming over after work. He welds for a living I'll get him to look at the problem and he tells that "it can be fixed then I'll keep and chop them down or add pieces. But as far as removing the exhaust, hell no thats crazy! But i'll post some pics if I can fix it. . . Whoever made their own, "where r the pics?" share!
