Mileage Question
I need help again.
I found a 2004 600RR with 7 thousand miles on it. It's in my area. No shipping required.
Is this alot of miles for an 04 600?
What is the expected mileage out of a bike like this?
I know alot depends on how it's been cared for, but average, how many more miles will this bike last?
Thank you for the help.

RE: Mileage Question
nope.. i sold my 04 after thanksgiving this year and it had 10060 miles on it.. and it ran great..
if properly taken care of it can last quite some time.. we have a member on here with 100k on his F4i.. so keep in mind its a honda..
keep in mind maintenence is key.. if the guy has never changed the oil i would walk.. lol..
ask him for any records available.. also look at the title make sure he didnt just buy the bike over the winter (find a problem and decide to get rid of it..)
sounds good man.. just do your research.

RE: Mileage Question
My 06 F4i has 12,000 miles on it.
edit: One of our members has about 120k on his F4i, it finally required some tranny work. If you are wondering why there are so many new low mileage sportbikes out there it is because, usually sportbikes are crashed and destroyed well before they are worn out.

RE: Mileage Question
ORIGINAL: Lrn2Go
I got my 07 almost EXACTLY one year ago (in March, first one of two to hit Oklahoma City) with one mile on it (factory check once they got it out of the box and put it together that day). Today I have almost 11,500 miles on it. 7K on an 04 is nothin'!
