Mileage question
If I buy a new engine or completly denying my engine can I get the mileage reset on my bike like you can on a car ? Also if so how do you go about it ? If I buy a new speedo own will it come with on miles on it ? I'm doing looking at replacing my motor or rebuilding it . i have 2mm over wiseco pistona new cam bullet stacks the whole nine yards. But when I was talking to the shop they said I should look into the mileage question. Any info would be awsome thanks

I typed it wrong. I meant 1mm over ive been told 2mm over is way to much. itll cause to many problems. But 1mm over and no sleave. it just helps to know and prove that the engine was done when I say that it was done . title will always say but thats no issue. the bike is basicly being rebuilt from the inside out. figured id want to have the goose egg on the speedo too

you could go aftermarket gauge and save some money - but it wouldn't hook up the same (for example - it counts revs off the coils, it has an actual wheel sensor for speedo and odo, etc.)
i don't see why someone wouldn't believe you if you said "i rebuilt the motor at 22k" or something.
