But when I was talking to the shop they said I should look into the mileage question. Any info would be awsome thanks

the speedo has the miles on it - buy and new one and it'd be zero

but why worry about how many miles it says?

and mileage will still be on the title.

2mm over? you sleevin' it?

I typed it wrong. I meant 1mm over ive been told 2mm over is way to much. itll cause to many problems. But 1mm over and no sleave. it just helps to know and prove that the engine was done when I say that it was done . title will always say but thats no issue. the bike is basicly being rebuilt from the inside out. figured id want to have the goose egg on the speedo too

If you want 0 reading on the dash, then you'll need a new one.Is it worth $600.00 for your bike to read 0 miles?

ya, you'd have to buy that direct from honda or ronayers or something... it'd be a lot.

you could go aftermarket gauge and save some money - but it wouldn't hook up the same (for example - it counts revs off the coils, it has an actual wheel sensor for speedo and odo, etc.)

i don't see why someone wouldn't believe you if you said "i rebuilt the motor at 22k" or something.

It was just a thought. I might end up just keeping it . With all the work getting done they will be able to tell anyways. The shop that is boring it is replating it.
