Heh, I've been living out of a hotel all over the country for about 6 months now... much more the past couple of months. Being gone all the time sucks if you've got someone at home. Finding someone to settle down with wouldn't work if you're moving around... not to mention finding time to ride if you're going all over sucks. At leasts that's my opinion. I don't like it. I do it cause I need the money... but I've gotta scale the travel back, I can't be gone 80-95% of the time. There's too much I feel like I'm missing.

Hotels are lame meals, sitting around watching tv and sitting on the computer, night after night after night. It sucks. It's nice to not have to make your own beds and stuff though...

So where you keep you bike?? Or is it back home?

Look pretty sweet. Always on vacation, lol

Well, i keep my bike in a storage unit if there is bad weather (1 mile away in a gated camera watched insured bldg.) or i cover it in the parking lot right outside my window. When its nice i ride to every meeting even if i have to wear a suit under my jacket, and pants.

As far as moving around.. i did that when i first got in this business (i dont consider oklahoma home.. i just grew up there..) lived in tx, ar, mo, ks, co, ms, tn.. and had enough went out to cali with some saved money and snowboarded all winter.. got a job offer this last spring and my condition was i wanted to me somewhere away from OK, and not moving around, so far 10 mo. and i have been here the whole time. I was told last week i could be here for up to 4 or 5 yrs... at that point i would be finding a home.. lol..

get to ride alot here so it works out nicely, and for any of you in the PA NY NJ area hit me up for a ride through the apps, catskills, or adirondacks.

If I could not hang out with my friends, go mudding on the weekends, hiking, camping, etc. I would hate life. Does you company let you travel home for the weekends?

well home is about 1100 miles away, i go to NYC, Toronto, or MTL alot on the weekends. And Oklahoma is pretty lame anyway. Its nice up here, and i have 2 friends from college here working with me. (i got them jobs b/c of the reason you mentioned. lol) its great. I just need to meet more people who ride up here. its a pretty poor area for the most part, and rural which makes the riding great with no traffic. Hopefully some of these checks we are paying people for wells will be spent on bikes..

I guess it would be okay if I had friends with me, but with a job like that I would quickly end up with a beer gut.
