I was flying down 695 in baltimore, around the sharp turn between essex and dundalk. In my convertible...doing about 85 in a posted 55. As I came around the turn I saw the cop, he saw me, and at that instant an empty yellow Best Buy plastic bag flew up from my back seat and right into my face.....I was flailing around like a moron trying to get it back down. Got it down as I was passing the cop, while him and his partner pointed and laughed at me.
I guess its worth looking like a fool if it will keep me out of a ticket.

That's cool. I live on Rt 7 right down from White Marsh Mall
A few weeks ago I was pulled over for doing 52 in a 35 zone and was not even given a verbal warning. All he asked was whether or not I had a good driving record, which I did. Then we started talking about good roads to ride in the area since he had a Ducati and then the subject turned to Nelson's Ledges, a track that's about an hour away from where I was pulled over. After some chit-chat he said he wouldn't give me a ticket or anything and I thanked him and left.
Another time I was pulled over on a Magna VF750 that I had while riding at night, which violates my permit restrictions. He told me to slow down in a rather stern tone and said that if I got pulled over again in Massillon, where I live, my bike could be impounded. Then I was off but I was only going 8 over, which is still speeding though.
The stupidest thing that I have ever done was ride without any type of permit, which resulted in me getting pulled over while I gunned it, doing 17 over once more. The cop was really cool and really didn't want to give me a ticket but I had no license so he had to have my bike towed, but he had it towed to my house instead of the impound lot. Plus, he asked if I knew anyone with a license so maybe I could ride on the back of my brand new 600RR rather than pay to have it towed to my house, which would have saved me alot of bread. Still, the speeding charge was dropped in court but I had to pay a fine and court costs for not having my permit. The judge just told me to get my license and that was that.

First off, I should preface this with the fact that I've lived in a town with a population of 4,115 all my life. I only live 2 miles outside of town right off a highway. So I just pull out onto the highway and I guess I was doing 75 or so just cruising along. I meet a county cop.
I see him hit the brakes and I just slow down and pull over, I wasn't too worried. He didn't even have to flip on the lights, just pull up behind me on the shoulder. He gets out and asks me for my license and we realize we know each other. His mom worked for my dad for roughly 14 years before she died. So he's asking me how my family is and whatnot and asks when I got the bike and all this stuff. He goes back and runs my license which is clean, I hadn't been pulled over in 3 years. He comes back and says to me "well, thanks for pulling over, cause, ah, theres no stopping these things." Then he just tells me to slow it down.
So usually whenever I hear somebody complain about getting pulled over or getting a ticket, I say "Oh yeah? When I get pulled over they THANK me for stopping!"

Great stuff. As an anarchist, I love to hear when one of the rule minders knows that people are HUMANS, and should be allowed a certain amount of freedom within the bounds...or something like that.
New cop story yesterday. I hit up a local service road that rides RIGHT NEXT to the interstate. Its a straight open road for about 3 miles and like 4 sweet *** turns at the very end. It runs right next to the interstate with a chainlink fence seperating us. Everyone on the interstate can see you and you can see them. So, I was bord and decide to work on my leaning and wheeles. So, I'm wheeling and then I hit the turns. I get the end and turn around and all I have is a straight open road for about 3 miles. I unload the gas and hit about 130mph. I see these 2 cops in Impalas speeding past me on the interstate and turn off the nearest exit which was close to me. I was like "oh ****". I turned off into a side road and hide for a little bit.
