bad wreck
i was just informed that a guy that i've rode with on several outings died in a motorcycle wreck two days ago. he was running around 120mph on his 2000r6. when he toped a hill his bike went into oncoming traffic and met a subirbin head on. he died on the scene a couple minutes later. i dont know many details but it sounds to me like his bike might have left the ground. i cant figure any other reason that would make him go into oncoming traffic. Leo was only 19 years old. nobody else was hurt from what i hear. reminds me of what could happen at any time. be safe people, sometimes it only takes one wrong move.
Sorry to hear about your friend. 19 is way too young to die. My guess is we have all had close calls that make us change the way we approach risk, it is a shame that he didn't live long enough to learn how to stay alive.
