Coffee from the shop down the way as it's 8:30am right now but I'm mashing in about 85lbs of grain right now to brew a sizable IPA for a friend's event! Mostly domestic 2row with small percentages of cara. Hops will be of the massive American variety: Columbus and Simcoe! This will be a massively Citrus-ey beer with some earthy pine for the beer nerds. For all the normal people... it'll getcha drunk!

So got some cheap but cheerful Aussie Shiraz

 

Indeedy - a Hunter Valley Shiraz in the 'quaffable' range.

$6.65 per bottle here. That is in the upper end of my price range - but we are spoiled for choice!

Spritzer like, soft red that the last two times I drank it, gave me a headache.

So what do you do?

Just bought two more bottles - $10 each - to make sure that it is that wine giving me a headache. Being a scientist means sometimes you have to suffer for your art!
