There are good and bad beers in Lidl, Perlenbacher in the long neck 0,5l bottle is pretty good when cold enough, Grafenwalder is awful, you skip the buzz and jump right to the hangover...

Had another stroke of luck yesterday when I found two sixpacks of the second best beer out there, Newcastle Brown Ale from the store, had to buy both to my lil stash in the garage.

Btw Sprock U still roll that S80? Just bought me a '99 T6 yesterday with every possible toy (except AWD)

Coors Light, the second one of the two I bought the other day. This is actually quite drinkable when it`s like .02 from freezing point (just figured out there`s enough room between the vent window and the outer mesh to get beers to cool there, free fridge three feet from the computer )

The colder you chill a beer, the less you can taste it, says it all really.

I'm with you on the Newky Brown though Matt

He's drinking that beer at the temperature the brewer intended it to be consumed at though. The light adjunct lagers are the hardest in the world to brew right and the companies that do them correctly employ some of the most intelligent brewers in the world. Not my favorite style by a long shot but man I sure can't come close to it when I try! My hat is off to those guys.

Here's what I was just sipping on, a little of my own creation, simple Belgian-style pale w/ trappist yeast and Willamette hops:
