Saw this for the first time in the import shelf at the grocery store so decided to give it a whirl. Quite good actually, not too sweet. Would make a great mixer.

Working my way through these. Had to drive 400km today to get them, and the beers took an even longer trip to the rendevouz point from Sweden. it`s not been imported to Finland ever.

Pistonhead Kustom (American Pale) Lager 4,9%

brewed with a double-clutch of Munchener and Pilsener malt. There seems to be some mixed info as the net says it`s hopped with Spalter Select, Magnum and Perle hops, and the can says it`s dry hopped with Cascade and Amarillo. All I know is that it has a strong bitter taste, it`s VERY citrucy, and once you`ve done with it you`re already fetching a new one. The weird part is if poured into a glass and exposed to bright light for a short time it`s supposed to glow in the dark! I GOTTA test, will report back.

Love the matte finish can.

EDIT: well at least an incredibly bright CREE LED bicycle headlight got no glow out of it. A bit suspicious about the whole thing, wonder what could make it do that, and if it`s an added attribute, WHY?!

Gotta say Matty, if you ever get sick of being behind the wheel you could always stock shelves.. Such a lovely display there, all the labels facing our and nice and flush

Haha well now that I think I actually have done that for two summers back when I was a kid. First was in a small household stuff store, the latter in a salmon fish-your-own pond/smoking place, it was so remote in the side of a highway you were stuck there for the whole day and if you didn't bring lunch guess what you ate. Took me ten years to be able to eat smoked salmon and after something like 15yrs still don't like it

Well Mattson I feel your pain I truly do as I was suffering from the very same
ailment recently but Dr Jamesons (hot Toddys) set me straight which led to
an Irish Coffee Marathon the next day - but in the end success I did kill it off
by lethal consumption

Tried Stroh jaegertea one day, all I got was nauseous from the sugar rush... that stuff is SWEET. No way you could consume sufficient amounts of that... I bet the officers would not encourage to try anyway as I drive for work...

Irish coffee you say... wonder if it would be considered as sacrilege to try with some Ardbeg Uigeadail... been open for quite a while now. That, or Chivas regal. Bushmills triple distilled doesn't work, tried.
