Chateau Ste Michelle Reisling, Good Washington State white. Dependable stuff. Always pleasing. About 7 dollars a bottle here. If you're going to some dinner and are on the hook for the wine. You can't go wrong with that. Even the gas station mini-marts here stock it

Our Exxon here in town stocks quite a bit of wine. From cheap stuff to $40+ a bottle

 

 

Brought back a craft beer from Mallorca, Spain last week. Cervesa Tramuntana Negra. Brewed in a 17th century rectory of the St Lawarance church at the foot of the mountains it's named for. These guys have got it right! I had given up finding a dark beer while there and then stumbled onto it at a cafe in Llukmajor. Any of you euros that might take a holiday there should find some.
