I brewed my own beer here at home up till I went to work in the oil patch... Not enough time to do it when I worked 2 weeks on and 1 week off
Witbier was my favorite followed by IPA.
We have a brew pub about 1/4 mile from my house and now I enjoy their whiskey barrel porter

Both of my brothers in law brew. I've done a little bit, but never really got into it.
I have a friend who is crazy about it. He makes some very good IPAs, chocolate stouts, you name it. He also works at a beer shop.

I think I'm too lazy for it. Genny is $14/30pk. I'm fine with that. lol...

Now that I'm home and don't think I'll be going back to the oil patch, I've thought about getting back into the home brewing thing, but with a brew pub just down the street, it's much easier to get the growler filled there

That's it, man. I think about going to buy all the ingredients, all the cleaning, waiting, etc... and I'm just like "screw that.... I can get 30 beers right now that I know are good....for $14..... and it's already ice cold!"

We bought a few wines at the field day in the Riverland of South Australia, then on the way home went past a winery that had a sign out Export Reds - $40 a case. That's $3.30 AUD per bottle for some nice Merlots and Shiraz's.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

It's no wonder I fall down a lot!

Cheers, SB

I have a ton of autumb olive bushes(trees really 15ft tall) and I made wine one year with them 25 gallons from 2 bushes! I've been too lazy/busy to do it this year but I hope to get out and pick 5 gallons. Took forever to drink 25 gallons!

Now that`s something I`d like to taste! Have a pretty good selection for this evening like Old Tom, Midnight Sun, Leffe, OriginALE Darwinian IPA, Red seal Ale and a few local specialities.
