What RU Drinking right now ?
Last year, I found THE perfect beer.
I bought quite a lot of them.
Even though they are very expensive here.
After the season ended it disappeared from the shelves.
I have waited.
I have waited long and hard.
Now, it`s back.
And better than ever!!!

(the grocery store version here has been diluted to 4,5% but still... THE best beer I`ve EVER tasted, and I`ve tasted quite a few of `em!)
To make it even more special, this particular bottle ended a "dropless november" that started @ 28.10.
`ts goooooooooood....

That looks like Mt. Hood on the label.
Henry's Private Reserve was the go-to beer for much of my 20's, 30's and 40's.
Palatable and refreshing as American beers go
Fine choice there, Sprock
@ Mattson. I wish someone would brew a "Bad Santa Ale" and maybe even a "Mrs. Santa's Sister Bitter"
Back to you, Sprock. If you crave a good PNW beer, Here's a link to a seasonal delight. Beautiful stuff.

No bad santa to my knowledge, however there is a product called Insanely bad elf that has over 10% and really strong taste
I like me some scotch. That's probably a bit expensive, though.
The bulleit rye is damn good, man. Ever have it? It's definitely worth trying @ like $25/bottle.
The pikesville is a bit brighter and not quite as good, but it's cheap as hell and also well worth it.
I wish I could find rittenhouse rye around here. I haven't had that in years.

Nuttin like that here, can`t remember any other American whisky being sold here that JD. There`s propably others too but haven`t really looked. Me personally, don`t like rye whiskeys. My favourite scot `s propably The Balvenie Doublewood, and the best Islay (whole other league, has to be rated separately) is hands down Ardbeg Uigeadail. And yep, U got that price part right, the Uigeadail costs a hair under 100 EUR here...
