So, the latest Airbus is super sophisticated, with all sorts of computer controls and over rides.

That massive aircraft can be flown by a single pilot and a dog.

The dogs job is to bite the pilots hand if he tries to touch any of the buttons and levers.

The pilots job is to feed the dog.

Welcome to the 21st century guys.

Did you hear that Trump wants to ban imported shredded cheese?

He wants to make America grate again.

You guys must be so proud to have him as a presidential candidate. You do realise don't you, that the rest of the world is just watching this whole fiasco, and thinking "Only in America"

Too true, Teeks.

If you look at a map. From Olympia to Tacoma to Bellingham, you'll notice that I am slowly inching closer to the Canadian border

We are very proud indeed, (note extreme hint of sarcasm). Sadly he isn't the only one providing the political satirist fodder for their trade.
At the present we have 5 candidates in the race. 4 of which are pretty much going to make us the butt of many jokes for the next term. And in reality, the 5th doesn't really stand a chance of making it. (IMO).

If we have done nothing else, every 4 years we prove Darwinism incorrect.
One of the basic premises of Darwin's thoughts were that a species would continue to evolve to gradually produce a superior example of that given species.

All you have to do is look at any of the candidates and see that it appears we are actually going in the opposite direction. :-)

Same sh*te goes on everywhere. We're just not parliamentary about it.

Those Commonwealth blokes can easily at any time just oust their government whenever they feel like it

At least in the US you don`t have to vote, in OZ we get fined or imprisoned if we don`t show up to the voting booth...police state again, just another revenue source I suppose.
