Fancy a dude like you Pete ,in your position, blowing the chit out of traffic cameras with a 9mm..!!!!

It was a big controversy when they installed them in the city. They don't have them in MD or VA.

Another communist thing about DC is that you aren't allowed to carry a firearm of any sort (except for law enforcement).

Yeah, looks a bit odd, but I have to wear two hats
One as a motorcyclist/biker - which applauds the action of persons unknown (wasn't me what dunnit)

And secondly as an officer of the Court - and with that hat on I have to deplore the vandalism and hope that the perpetrators are caught and punished.
The biggest problem is IF they are ever caught AND THEY END UP BEFORE ME
What then ?

I'm not sitting in Traffic Court - they have their own Magistrates - just as well, or I'd be removed for favouritism

A case like this would however be viewed as either Vandalism or Deliberate damage to property, so I may be in line.........it was a $40000 Au camera sooooooo.
Be an interesting couple of hours though - I could sell tickets....
Fair cop though Steve (scuse the pun) hehe
Oh and I'm not certain of the calibre they could as easily have been 38 spl, 357 mags. I'm INFORMED that the damage was extensive - to the "will never work again" level. More I cannot say...........nor should I.
Taking the 5th is a good idea............
