The Site for the Hurricane CBR750 Biking is living works again, after some hard work from the admin, he also made it easier to read and/or download the manuals on and from the site. So you're welcome again

Default 87 CBR600 restoration project

Just purchased this survivor, runs…needs clean up.
Will be restoring to original look and performance for street riding and, will have do a track day or 2.
Body fasteners and paint job are all goobered up, will be restoring to original 1987 black with red accents.
I've found some decal sources.
Would like to know; will wheels from F2 CBRs fit on the 87-90?
Thanks for help!

Welcome Epic X.

Nice mono-tint MkI!

Turn signal are a nice touch. The mirror delete would not fly where I live

Thanks!
Took some figuring to do, but I put LED's on the front and went with a integrated rear brake/signal light with the orginal RoboCop looking tail light lol.

I wasn't a fan of how the orginal mirrors looked on the bike so I tried going with some bar ends, but because of the weighted rod in the handlebars I needed to find another way to mount them. Just waiting to machine some pieces.

Also having a friend of mine custom make some other pieces to cover where the mirrors originally mounted on the cowl. Soon as a get them, I'll be posting more pictures.

I wanted to do an all-in-one rear light set-up on my old '87 but never got around to it

Haa, I was very tempted, best of all, it happened xmas day 2017, police didn't want to know, even though I had cctv footage, then insureance took over a year to pay out. Will never use MCA again. I couldn't touch the bike because they didn't even send an engineer to assess it till right never the end. So I couldn't just repair it myself. Been a bit of a nightmare, but all sorted now lol, anyways enough whinging Found out its mostly plastic and screen damage and a clutch lever. but it was writ off under class N, so time to rebuild.
