Hey, New to the forum.
Picking up an 88 that has been sitting for about 4 or 5 years. Know both the owners and most of the history, but it's gonna need a lot of work. I'll be scowering the forum for advice. Pics to follow.

Plenty of people here willing to help and provide advice on getting your bike on the road again, or even find parts. Depending on how far you intend to go with the rebuild, may I suggest Wheelnut's excellent rebuild blog on his CBR1000F for starters.

OK FOKES LOOKING FOR SOME HELP


recently some ****** A not very nice person unscrewed and took the bit of plastic covering the screws on the inside of the screen . its a small part i know but its all i can see now and is proving hard to find one of any colour ...

Any help or advice on where to get one would be much appreciated .....

I posted in the main section then found this section
I'm Peter from Brunswick in victoria & have just bought a 89 1000f my all time had to have before I die bike,will be sprucing up this bike before it goes on club plates next year, when hope to meet up with others on my travels.
