Whilst I obviously back the Kiwis, I can't think of a better final,in the centenary of the first ANZAC battle, than these two teams coming together.

I'm excited, the match won't finish till after midnight NZ time so I might need to buy extra wine in.

If, the unthinkable happens, and the Kiwi side snatches defeat from the jaws of victory (as they have so often done in the past), I may just not be able to post for a few days, because of some unexplained internet access issue.

Best of luck to both sides, it is a fitting end to a great competition.

There is a program on NZ telly at the moment called "Stella".

The good lady wife finds it highly amusing, but it all goes completely over my head.

It is based in Wales, for all I know they could be speaking Hebrew; but apparently it is actually some form of English.
