I have a tip for those with oil filters that just wont come off no matter what you do. I learned it from working on and rebuilding car engines. Take a long screwdriver and hammer and hammer the screwdriver right through the filter. This will give you leverage to spin it off. I just had to do this on my new f4i, previous owner must not have used oil on the filter gasket. I have never had this technique not work.

I had that technique fail once on a lawn mower.. the screwdriver just ripped the filter in half.. i ended up having to pull the motor out so i could get a real good grip with channel locks.. you also have to make sure you are far enough out on the filter so you dont hit the threads the filter screws onto.. mess them up and your screwed
