Get yourself a torque wrench. This one is $14 at Autozone, accurate to +/- 2%

+1 to the torque wrench..you will need it sometime in your life..like with me last week, i replaced the cam chain, and i had to loosen the cam cage up top to pick the cams up a little. The bolts holding the cams on had to be torqued to 7 ft*lbs. Any less they will loosen up by themselves, any more they will prematurely wear the cam journals.

Default site still going?

Anyone know if the original poster (the site with the DYI info) is still being updated? I just found his site and really like the step by step instructions with detailed pictures. I have a copy of the maintenance manual, but the photos step it up a notch.

Thanks

if you go to the root site, there is a pretty active board where he answers questions ... all the other content? ... ramblings
