Oil Change
Hey my fellow 929'ers..lol
I have a newbie question. I was thinking of changing the oil on my bike for the first time myself and I wanted to know do u have to remove one of the fairings to change the oil filter or can you change it w/o taking off the fairings? I'm thinking that the fairings can stay on and just have to wiggle it out around the exhaust header through the opening on the fairing. Am I right or wrong? Thanks...

Cardboard. Make yourself a little "slide" for the oil to drain past the fairings. That way nothing needs to come off. Simple solution. Good luck with it! Great bikes!

I usually take the bottom fairing off, crimp up some aluminum foil and shape it so the oil drains onto the foil and into your pan. Keeps the oil from slopping up the pipes.
