You could do that, yes. Me personally, I have signals in the mirrors and signals and running lights on the sides. Just a preference thing really, but both ways will work

Hmm. That's not a bad idea at all. I like it! LEDs all the way around for you, then? For rear LED signals, if a person wants to keep it simple & inexpensive, is the best option to buy LED replacement lamps for the factory signal housings? Or a pair of those universal LED blinker sets off *bay? I've never had the rear blinkers off, so I don't even have a clue how they're mounted.

could you run the running light wire with diode to a toggle switch in order to control running lights? so if i just wanted them on at night?

got bored today so i tried this out, worked like a charm

What would be "more funner" than a switch would be controlling the ON off with a photocell. So when its dark they automatically turn on at night, and in the day they will turn off. I mean theres more circuitry involved than that, but a cool idea none the less!

I used these on the rear. They are really bright and seem to be holding up well so far (even though ive prolly only rode the bike 400-500 miles since installing them). I couldnt beat the price for $15 either.

I have a quick question I installed a set of binkers from Honda after I conected them the indicators stayed on and they blink fast... I don't care about the blinking fast but id like for my indicators to go off any advice on how to wire them so they will go off?
Im reinstalling led blinkers in the front but I don't think that will fix the problem

You need the diodes on any of the signals you do this conversion on. It sounds like you didnt put them in. When your signals are off, your running light wire is back-feeding your gauge cluster making the lights stay on.
