Convert 2 wire signals to 3 Wire Inputs
Flashing rate will be the same regardless of this modification. What your looking for is a variable load flasher relay. It basically flashes at the same speed regardless of the load that it is powering. I am using the stock flasher right now because i like it a little quicker than normal.
BTW my low profile signals from 911Moto will work with the diodes right? These are them http://www.911moto.com/store/index.p...d&productId=42
It will most likely flash quicker. Yes, they will work with this though. If you want to slow the flash rate down and want to keep the stock flasher, use some ~40-50ish ohm 7-10W power resistors before each front signal on the correct wire.
So you think they will flash even quicker than they are now? Does it matter if I burn in those resisters before or after the diodes? And just install resistors on the wire that triggers flashing? (which ones are they?)
Sry for all the questions...first bike and im not too good at wiring.

Awesome. Thanks for the help. Im going to try and get these installed in the next couple of days... Ill update yall afterwards. *hand shake*
Its been raining on and off here since Sunday so i figured id work on the bike. Just got done installing my flush mount and short stalk signals. I was able to wire the front signals to stay on as running lights with Redz' instructions. I also got the flashing rate to stay the same with the resistors he recommended. Thanks for the help man!
Sry for the crappy pictures...I took them with my BB.

Thanks. Its a really clean bike. An 06 with 3400 miles on it when I bought it. Had Two Brothers Slipon, tinted shield, and frame sliders installed from the PO. I hacked off the mud flap, installed HID's, turn signals, and a LED license plate light. Its getting to where I want it slowly but surely. I want some black shorty levers soon and ill need a new back tire before too long (the PO either road only straight roads or was scared to lean cause the center 3" were wore while the rest of the tire looked new. I took care of that lol) . I have plans for eventually a painted undertail, GSXR style mirrors with LEDs, a power commander, shorten the slipon 5-6", and to lower it 1"-2" front and back.
This is a great write-up; thanks!
Myself, I'm kinda almost fond of mirror-mounted blinkers, so I was thinking: Shouldn't it be cake to wire the flush-mount LEDs to the 'running light' wire, and the LED mirrors to the 'blinker' wire, and thus have both running lights and blinkers without the diodes? Or am I not quite grasping the factory wiring system?
