Wont start in first gear???

The switch comes off with a phillips screw driver and, at least my bike, can be removed in 30 seconds with no obstructions.

^ lol 30 sec must b a record time...but so is it just a remove and replace thing...like unplug and replug the new one? if ill just end up doing it my self....

There is literally one screw in the switch and it's just butted up against the clutch/brake level. When you pull in either the clutch or the brake it releases the pressure on the switch.
