I have a 2001 f4i and i was riding down the road and it cutoff on me and while still rolling I flipped the kill switch back and forth and it came back on and i rode off just fine, This happened a second time then started back just fine. Now the fuel pump wont prime when i turn the ignition switch on. Also the headlight is on and my highbeam light is on in the dash regardless of if my headlight switch is on or off.
What Ive checked:
Fuel pump tested and is fine
Fuses are all fine
Flipped both relays with each other and nothing changed
The kill switch has been taken apart and works properly
The starter switch seems to be working properly as well with the four wires intact

Now i dont know where else to look, Im pretty stumped

The most common issues around the Fuel Pump not priming relate to the Bank Angle sensor or the Ignition Switch having a bad diode in it. Have you checked either of these ?

 

That sounds like an issue I had with the sub harness on the left side of the bike. Take a look at this thread for some more info https://cbrforum.com/forum/f4i-main-...t-come-143590/. The connection on mine is so messed up it has to be tweaked just so for the bike to run.

 

I pulled the whole switch apart with the exception of the throttle cables and look and everything and it seemed fine, I have been having a problem with the ignition switch sticking but i wouldnt think that would cause this problem
