Default wont start in gear

she'll start fine in neutral, but won't start in any gear. yes, the stand is up, yes, the kill switch is off (or on??? (it's in run)) and yes, i pulled the clutch in. no, i don't have front signals. that might matter but i'm not sure. and i'm looking for a black satin aluminum slip on. anybody know of a co. that makes them?

Turn the ignition off, flip the kill switch to killed. turn the ignition on, flip the kill switch to run, check if the fuel pump primes and look for the flashing F1 light for diagnostics.

mine did the same thing about a month ago, the problem was that the clutch lever bolt was missing and when i would pull in the clutch it wasnt enough to engage the clutch sensor so it would start, but it WAS enough to shift gears, yea bikes are weird but that was my problem as ridiculous as that sounds

check the wire that connects at the clutch perch. It should run down to the engine somewhere too i think. That's how it is on four wheelers. it tells the engine that the clutch is engaged.
