I used Mobil 1synthetic 10w-30. I always have and it seems to work great. As a for a filter I use the Framoil filter. Part number PH6607 if you were wondering.

I also dont know if you know this but if it is colder most people use 10w-30 and in the hotter weather some use 10w-40. At least that is what I have been doing.

Default Oil to use

Lard works great, however you have to heat it up before you can pour it through the funnel. I fine that used wesson frying oil works best, you will have to give it a good straining though, you dont want all that cornmeal and flour particles to get in your bike and last longer than syn!! No really I use 5w-40 shell rottela syn which is really a refined mineral oil. I have used it since 1,500 mile mark and any time I take part of the engine apart it looks brand new with no sign of wear. I now have 27,000 miles runs better than new. It is now jaso approved!!!!!!
