Turn signal problem
So I finally managed to fix my bike after my accident in December, and my turn signals came in the mail yesterday. I bought some flushmounts from Hot Bodies, and I spent my morning installing. Before finishing everything up, I checked to make sure that they worked. Everything was fine before I tightened everything up.
I just took my first ride since December, and I notice that my turn signals don't turn on at all. It doesn't even show in the dash. Any help? I'm thinking that I pinched a wire somewhere.. but I can't imagine where.
Oh, and it's a 2005 F4i.
Ninja Edit:
I just found out my brake lights don't work either... scary. Help, please?

So...do you or don't you have a blown fuse?
You need to know if you've got a fuse that's blown. Pop another one in there & see if it pops too. If it does, you've got a wiring problem. A wire may be touching another wire, touching metal, etc. How did you wire them up? Did you just connect & electrical tape them, use proper connectors, or what?
Need more info.
Just tryin' to help.

I've been off at school since I posted, sorry.
I have blown the fuse... I didn't notice earlier, but the horn doesn't work either:P
I'm going to go over everything I did in the morning, and make sure that I didn't mess anything up.. I have a rough idea of where it might have gone wrong though.
Thanks for the help. I picked a horrible time to learn how to do all this...
At the consequence of looking noobish... the fuse is a 10/20 amp one, correct? I can pick those up at any auto parts store?
And an edit:
I just reread what I posted earlier, I'm sorry. It sounds rather rude and unhelpful. I'm sorry if it came across like that.

Yup. I re worked all the wiring and found that a piece of cable broke through the heat wrap. I redid everything, making sure that everything was working just fine until final install. I also replaced the fuse, and everything works just fine.
Thanks a lot for all the help. I can pick up spare fuses at an auto parts store, right?

Sure thing.
Yep, you can get the fuses at auto supply stores. I've found that PepBoys generally keeps those small 10 amp fuses in stock, whereas some of the smaller shops don't always have them.
Glad it worked out ok.
