Default TURN SIGNAL PROBLEM

I have a 01' 929....the rear left blinker works, but the continous background light does not. I have changed bulbs...same problem. Also, on the instrument panel the right turn signal indicator stays lit? So it looks like a left / right issue going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Similar thing happened to me. Do you have some sort of aftermarket resistor / relay box wired to your rear blinkers to make them flash slower?

Mine did, and that failed. As soon as I took that component out, it wired up fine.

Mine was funky tho to lol... if I hit the front brake lever... my left blinker would lock on =P

Nothing funky wired...kind of have it narrowed down. The running lights should only be on the main fairing....the two rear turn signal lights should not stay lit, but my right rear does? I completely disconnected the rear right signal...plugged it in the left side...worked perfectly....so my problem is from the right clip forward....GREAT!

Well...found out what was wrong. The front right bulb was jammed and a little rusty...cleaned and replaced...good as new!! Thanks for all of the powerful insight.

Pfft. Easy one!

Mine involved multi-meters, wiring diagrams, wire cutters, solder, shrink tubing... etc.
