Your wiring is ****ed up and you have a bad bulb in your circuit. Double check your wiring, may just be a bad ground path.

Not sure exactly what you're saying [&:]...

Either way i hit the signal the side that has the switch on blinks slightly faster than the other,
Does this mean both left and right signals are going off at the same time when you hit the turn signal? or the front and rear?

but they both blink at the same timenone the less.
If they blink at the same time, how is one blinking slightly faster than the other?

Kinda confusing buddy. You're gonna need to be a little more clear if want proper help.

both flash at the same time

depending on which side is selected, that one blinks faster.

Thanks,
I will check the wiring.

The previous owner probably had that installed, it doesnt sound like anything is malfunctioning. If you can, contact him and ask him if he had that installed, that would be a good place to start.

So i took it apart and it'sa first generation hotbodies undertail i think. The module says hotbodies on it. The last 2 wires on each side (im assuming ground wires) are cut down to teh box, they are a brown color. Suggestions on what i should do? The light blinks now one solid light no matter what signal is hit. Do you not need those brown wires?

Sorry, its a huge mess back there...

Are they LED signals? It sounds like you lost some resistance somewhere, possibly with the wrong size bulb. You might have the front signals hooked up wrong. The front bulbs on the stock signals used dual filament lamps (Front 3 wires per side, rear 2 wires per side)if they are are hooked up backwards that may be the cause.

This sound's like the problem ... The flasher unit work's on a restance to click over the link in the flasher unit ... So left and right hand side must have the same restance to flash at the same speed ... If one side is higher than the speed slow's down ... It look's like to me you have diffrent size blub's in the right hand side as opposed to the left ...Or you have a bad conectin in one of the push fit's ... If the blub's are the same try some electic cleaner on the conection ... That should fix it ...
