Hmmm, very interesting responses from both parties, I can only assume too much intake of New Year spirit from both of you.

I await further installments.

Cheers

OK ENOUGH !!
Let's keep it on the island gentlemen, and the subject if you please.
G_954rr your response was not helpful. None of us started off knowing all the answers, including you I suspect.

First of all I wouldn't rev a cold engine to 12000 - you will do more harm than good
Second, a slight ticking noise is not a major item to worry about IMO.
It is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that the cam chain will jump teeth.

I'd suggest you ride the bike for 500 miles, see if the noise gets any worse, (which I doubt it will) and then assess the position. Changing the camchain tensioner won't be of much help, again IMO. The bike is hardly even run in yet, so warm it up on the choke for 3 minutes, take her out at half revs and when she's warm, give it the gun.........
Hope this helps

No prob man, keep that *** coming out of you on the forum, but try to be more close to the subject, please.Did I tell anybody giving me advice what should I be doing with my future, I asked about the bike.

Before standing firmly on our legs, you will inevitably fall couple of times if not more. That's how all of us learnt to walk, same concerns to riding.

Do you really think you are diferrent/better? no talks about god and philosophy , just stick to the subject, if you can't do that go on flooding with other threads !

And happy New Year to the rest underdeveloped part of us !
