Unhappy engine noise after spark plug change.

I changed my spark plugs eysterday and now theres this loud knocking sound coming from the top right side of the motor. Its by the valve cover. I alreasy changed the cct to an ape manual one and its not that. The noise increases with the revs and starts as soon as thre bike turns on. the higher you rev the louder it gets.
I have no idea what to do or what it is any ideas, suggestions??????

I just wanna fix it so i can ride again....

Did you check the gap before you put them in?

Did you install the correct plug? Have you checked if the plug wires are on in the correct order?

Did you crack one of the plug insulators when you were installing them? That happened to me once, although on mine I noticed more of a slightly rough idle than a knocking noise.

Yikes dont run it anymore before you pull those plugs out. Pull them all out and check for any impact damage. If there is none you may just have a bad plug or got some wires crossed.

If im not mistaken the plug wiring order is (sitting on the bike) left coil is 2-3 and right is 1-4?? i think thats what it was. its been a while

spark plugs need to be properly gapped in order to spark correctly (the gap is the distance between the 2 metal pieces that spark at the end of the plug) there is a tool which can adjust them

i believe around 32 thousands to 34 thousands is what i set mine to.
iridiums are different however.

please tell us the order of your coils.(btw they are numbered on them 1-4, 1 being the far left if you are sitting on your bike)

please also tell us the spark plugs you used.

please also give is more information on your bike.

at 50k it's possible some of the engine parts in the bike are worn.
yes, these bikes pull like a beast, mine still does at 55k now

i would bet money that (aside from your oil on the plugs problem)
sounds like something in your engine isn't working correctly.

it could be something like a worn gasket.
it could be alot of things.

I was wondering if you ever found out what was wrong with your bike because mine has a knock now and it only has 200 miles on the rebuild. Everything I have read points to a bad rod bearing or multiple bad rod bearings....lol either way not good
