Default Sticky Throttle

OK, I've got a problem here. I know this is a Honda forum and all, but it is the forum I am logged to. I own Honda dirt bikes and ATV's, but this is my problem. I have a 1998 Yamaha FZR 600. Now the throttle sticks on it. Like, it is semi difficult to twist the trottle because it stick's so much. I have riden some other bike's and also 2 other Yamaha FZR's and none have this problem. Is there a way to fix this? If so, How?

Default RE: Sticky Throttle

Could be a dirty cable or linkgage (needs a lube), but try loosening the weight on the end of the bar 1st, As this may have jammed up against the throttle (especially if the bike been dropped on that side)
