Default Need Help. sticky throttle?!

so im trying to figure out whats wrong with the throttle on my 98 cbr600F3... the bikes fine its just that the throttle handle feels a bit sticky it doesnt snap back like im sure its supposed to.. so i tried loosening the screw from the side thinking maybe the grip is just rubbing but that didnt seem to be it...i thought about getting some better grips since the ones i got on there are the OEMs but i didnt know how to take the old on off i just assumed if i took off the screw from the side it would then just slide off but it didnt so is there a trick to it?

yeah it's simple. just take a knife and cut it off. make sure you get all the sticky stuff off before putting new ones on. i had the same problem.

the Pro Grip brand makes pretty good ones. there's really no way to go wrong with grips. just make they're bike specific.i would go ebay.

go to the Motors part of ebay. type in "honda cbr 600 f3" in the top line. then click on the "parts and accessories" thing on the left. there should be a million different listings for grips.

I dont think it is the grips. Your throttle cables may need adjustment. Down next to the carbs is where you do this, there are 2 cables from the throttle.
