just found my chain filter remover...looks v tight behind the pipes but i'll have a good go!!!

just got these bad boys...at that price you cant complain and ill use if for car too

Cup, 6" extension and elbow socket to pivot between the header and front tire for the F4i. The two Kawis before that, big as screwdriver and hammer. A bit 'o foil over the headers, no big mess.

 

I have a chain tool and a filter cup, prefer the cup on the F4i but the chain tool is better on some bikes where clearance is an issue (i.e. zx10r).

Stabbing a screwdriver through it is asking for trouble... we've all done it, but then we've all stuck a finger up our butt too, doesn't make it a good idea.

 

How so?

 

If the filter is particularly seized through corrosion or a ham fisted previous owner it can tear the filter to bits leaving you with a stub attached to the cooler and no way to grip it.

 

bought the fliter pliers thing...£4 on ebay...best bit of kit Ive got in a while!

got right in behind pipes no prob and helped to tighten new one up
