Default OIL FILTER REMOVAL

MY OIL FILTER REMOVER IS TO BIG FOR FILTER BARELY......IS THERE ANY WAY TO MAKE IT WORK!!!!????

no.
buy one that fits...especially if it's the first filter it's going to be TIGHT...get a 1 piece oil filter wrench from a moto shop, not kragens, autozone, etc...they don't fit right even though they say metric, etc.

if it's the first filter change you may have to use the good ol screw driver through the filter to get it to turn method.

I picked up a socket oil filter wrench size k or something from auto zone last night worked like a charm..

If you do poke a screwdriver through it make sure to do it far enough away from the threads so you dont damage them.

thats so funny cuz i was like f*uck it and stabbed it with the screwdriver hahaha it works good lol didt get my threads.....then i went on one helacious ride new rear sets new hotbodies exhaust and fresh oil awwwwww good day....damn i think the hotbodies is the perfect sounding exhaust you can make it quiet and when u open it up nice, nice sound.....

+1 on the screwdriver and oil filter. I think the guy at the factory who screwed that puppy onmust have been built like a tank.

if this was a 600RR, you could have over penetrated the oil filter and punctured the oil cooler, a $300 part.

what ever happened to using a band wrench or filter pliers?

The right wrench is $6 from the dealer, why buy anthing else? Maybe tap a metal screw through it to lock it into the filter if you don't want to do the whole screwdriver thing.

if its to big then what i have done in the past helping from out is duct tape the filter making the outisde larger thus ur then able to grip it
