Default How Long to charge a battery

I am going to get my F2 out of storage this weekend. I'm positive the battery is dead. I bought the battery new in September. Should I buy a charger and charge it or just get a new battery?

If charging it is the best route, what kind of charger should I buy and approx. how long will it take to charge fully?

Thanks for your expertise.

You can buy a Battery Tender Jr for around $20 with a bit of Google searching. With that model you can leave the battery connected to it indefinitely and it will not harm the battery. There is a light on the charger that goes from red to green when it is fully charged. With a very low battery I'd say it will take at least a full day to charge.

Once you have a Battery Tender Jr, next winter just put your battery on it and leave it that way until spring.

Put it on the low charge setting and leave it on there for as long as possible - at least overnight or 10+ hours.
