The battery on the 04 CBR 1000 is 12VDC, but when I charge it, it's way over 12VDC. In fact, when the charge goes down to 12.6 VDC, theengine will not turn over. What's going on, and what should the voltage be for a fully charged battery?

 

As far as i know that sounds about right for a charged battery, and when charging off the alternator it should be about 14...
