The directions on the card I got with said to put both orange with the red and both blue with the red so I believe you did it right. I don't know why they would stay on.

i just installed these on my 600rr but ran into lil problem...
my rear turn signals stays on all the time now...as well as the signal indicator on the dash...
there were 2 orange wires and 2 blue wires...i tapped those 2 wires together and connected with red...
was that the problem?...
please help me!!!
it's bugging da hell out of me!!!!
very old post i know... but i just did this and have the same problem..... anyone know a fix for this?

for my 2001 f4i... i didn't have to take off the front fairings. all I had to take off was the side fairings so I could reach my hand under near and unscrew everything. Not sure if it's the same as the newer years but I've had a very bad experience when taking off the front fairing. Couldn't get it back on as easily as I took it off. *shiver*
