Default HOTBODIES flushmount

Not that I think there will be much of a problem installing some flushmounts but at least for the people here who have installed them, was there any pain in the a$$ along the way installing them?

thanks

While not very hard, you'll need some very basic wiring knowledge/experience. Most LED turn signals are wired up with only two wires, positive and ground. the F4i has three wires. Unless you use some diodes, your turn signal indicators on the gauge will act a little differently. They'll work fine, but it may bug you.

The indicators will stay on all the time, because the current going from the running light wire into the turn signal wire will trick it into thinking the turn signal is on, thus lighting the indicator.

I don't remember what brand my signals are but they came with the running light option. Hell, they came with about 12 options If you have three wires and only a two wire signal just terminate the running light wire (it's the one with 12V to ground when the bike is on) and you need no diode. You might need a resistor in parallel, though, to keep it from blinking fast ... unless you like fast blinking.

Sorry I can't be of more help but I installed my stuff so long ago I forget what brand. Just know they were the expensive ones (just ask the wifey) and they compensate for the amp loss.
