Looks like my first diagnose's was the right one. Cyl #2 header being cooler than the rest just sent us on a wild goose chase and was probably just effected more by the rich condition caused by the FPR than the other cyl's for some reason. Oh well it happens, sounds like you have it figured out now.

You should also replace the vacuum line attached to the FPR, it has probably had fuel in it because of the faulty FPR and will crack/leak because of it (might have already).

not yet... havent been back to the bike but as soon as im off wrok im going to try a few things... and were the hell can i get a fuel pressure regulator at anyways?? Ive tried all local shops. I guess ill just have to order one and wait a week.. any ideas on where to get one or is there universal ones or other model bikes I can use it from?..

ok so i switched the fpr with one from a 929 and the bike ran a lot better and the second cylinder heated up but still not as much as the others.. im crossin my fingers and not tryn to get to excited yet.. tomorrow i have to run to the shop to get some motorcyle oil to drain out all that gassy oil i have.. thanks everyone for the help

 

ok so the Fuel Pressure Regulator fixed the problem.. very wierd.. I feel like the day i first day i bought my bike.. haha I rode around all yesterday and everything is smooth.
