Did you ever check the ignition timing with a timing light?

 

ill update everyone tomorrow.. just got down with a few things tonight on the bike... time to drink..

 

ok, so last night i went over some **** that i can check off the list and also got a little closer to the problem. I let the bike run for a minute and sprayed brake clean on the headers and its showing that cylinder two isnt heating up as the other ones do as it does not burn/evaperate the brake clean.

-Pulled off the the injectors and switched them around and fired the bike up again.. still cylinder is still cold and definately is getting gas.
-Next, went back to the spark plugs and tested for spark and sure enough it had spark

So im getting gas and im getting spark. The bike still shoots out a little white smoke and smells like gas.

Any suggestions?

 

What does it sound like when running on 3 cylinders?

 

it really doesnt sound all that different when idleing.. it just lacks power, like a delay in throttle response.. when i rev it kinda acts like its runnin on 3 and then in higher rpms seems fine...

 

I fit were running on 3's then I'd imagine the sound would change character dramatically.

 

What about unplugging cyl #2 injector? You replaced it with another with no change which proves the injector is good but doesn't prove the wiring or signal to pulse. Try that and see what happens.

 

It's not likely given the mileage but have you done a compression check ? Low compression in that cyl would also cause what you described.

 

going to try a compression test and i think i tried unpluging that injector but ill try that again. Ill keep an update.

going to replace the fuel pressure regulator and i just noticed i have gas in my oil..... hmmm
